We are excited to invite researchers and practitioners of rheology from Australia, New Zealand and beyond to this meeting to share their ideas and findings!


Abstract Submission

Seminar talks will be for 25 or 15 minutes, followed by 5 minutes for questions.  Posters will be of A0 size and can be in portrait or landscape format.  Please download the abstract template and email abstracts for either talks or posters to prabhakar.ranganathan@monash.edu. Please clearly mention in the email whether the abstract is for a talk or a poster.


Conference Registration

The registration fee is AUD $400 for full registration and AUD $200 for student registration (plus 10% GST). If you cannot make it in person and wish to give a talk remotely, an online-only registration option is available. The registration fee covers the annual Full/Student Membership subscription fees. For those attending in-person, the fee also covers morning/afternoon teas and the Reception Dinner on Thursday evening.

Located at the Paris end of Collins Street,

the Monash Conference Centre is within easy walking distance to a number of car parks, trains, trams, buses and a taxi rank.

It is also only a short stroll from a wide variety of hotels and accommodation options.


Travelling by train

Parliament Station is located on Spring Street and is only a two minute walk from the Monash Conference Centre.

Travelling by tram

Tram Stop number 9 is on Collins Street at the intersection of Spring Street. It services tram numbers 11, 42, 48, 109 and 112.

Travelling by car

Discount Parking is available at First Parking Collins Place Car Park located at 28 Flinders Lane and is part of the Collins Place Complex underneath the Sofitel Hotel.

Entry is via Flinders Lane from Spring Street. Please note it is the second car park on the right hand side. No discount is applicable if delegates park in the first car park which is Secure parking. To receive the discounted rate delegates can present their parking ticket to staff for validation.
